Hey everyone! We would like for you to meet one really cool dude- this here is TREVOR and he is just waiting and waiting to find a forever home. This guy was rescued in the nick of time from a curious St. Bernard who found him under a deck of a Long Island home. The dog's owner was able to intervene and bring him to us. Under the care of our medical coordinator, 1-2 week old Trevor was bottle-fed every few hours. When he was brought to us, his eyes had just begun to open. This was a kitten who never would've made it on his own. Thanks to the round-the-clock care, he turned into a strong, healthy boy. He loved to play and explore, and it wasn't long before he moved to another foster to continue to grow. Trevor loves toys, perching himself on cat towers and snuggling himself into fuzzy blankets. Due to being with people since a very young age, he loves everyone and everything (two and four legged friends!). He is spunky, curious and happy as could be when he receives love and attention! Trevor has what we call "bottle baby syndrome". When kittens are born in a litter, it is up to a mama cat to teach them that rough play is inappropriate. Since Trev was an orphan, he had no mother to teach him this. Sometimes when playing, he can become a little rough (example: play biting just a little too hard). It is easily corrected with a firm no (and a squirt from a water bottle). It is something that he will grow out of when he turns about a year old. This handsome fella would benefit from being placed into a home with a cat-savvy person. He would do best in a home without young children (although, his foster family has a 5 year old and he & Trevor are best buddies!). He is still by far one of the sweetest, snuggliest babies that we have! One family will be very lucky to have him and he would love to find his forever home in time for the holidays!
