What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal.

IVY was originally rescued by us in early 2016 with her two brothers. They were the "leftover" Christmas kittens that no one had picked in December and because of that. they were at risk of euthanasia. They came to LCAR in January, and rather quickly, the boys found their homes. Ivy is still without hers; her first birthday has come and passed, yet still she is homeless. 

She is shy. She doesn't show her true colors at our adoption events and she is not even given a second glance from people. She hides in her litter box- scared of the noise, the commotion, and people sticking their hands constantly in her cage. She doesn't know these people or why she is on display like a circus animal; instead, she just wishes to go home. 

In her foster home, Ivy is a different story. Yes, she is shy to new people at first, but once she gets to know you, she'll slowly open up. She is still a work in progress, but makes strides everyday. She loves to be pet on her head, and sit on the couch beside you. She is amazing with other cats, indifferent to dogs and seems to light up to children. Please give this girl her chance- she just wants a loving home 

Ivy is up to date on shots, spayed, FIV & Leukemia NEGATIVE, microchipped, up to date on flea & tick preventative and litter box trained.
