Paisley was found as a feral stray before she came to the farm. She was terrified of humans and couldn't be touched. She seemed to be doing well at the farm, until one day she ran away. Several months went by, when we heard about a dog matching Paisley's description wondering around town. Our farm manager went looking for this sweet girl and saw her hanging around one particular house. It was an elderly man's house and after showing him a picture of Paisley and talking with him, we found out that this sweet man had been feeding Paisley for about a month. He had tried several times to catch her but never could, but he could tell she had been hurt. We left a trap for Paisley and within only a couple of days we caught her. This scared girl had obviously been hit by a car at some point, but we couldn't touch her, so she couldn't handle surgery or physical therapy. Over time we were able to work enough with her to be able to safely get her the surgery she needed! She has had her surgery and is in MUCH better shape now than before. With the constant work of our wonderful staff, Paisley has truly blossomed and enjoys the company of our staff now. She has come such a long way and now loves to be pet and actually demands it before going back into her crate. Paisley is one special girl!
