Sammy was just one of the 50 dogs who came to St Francis Farm in order to escape the path of Hurricane Matthew. Sammy has been through so much in her short life, but she is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet!

Sammy came to us heartworm positive and had to under go the intense treatment needed to get rid of those. Not long after treatment Sammy started coughing up blood sometimes and had to under go treatment for this. She still gets infections from time to time, making her again cough up blood and then again have to go on more medicine. Poor Sammy also had a torn ACL at one point and you can see a limp in her walk now.

Sammy has been through so much and some how she is still such a little love bug. We love her so much and want to continue giving her the best care possible and all the love she needs.
