Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal.

Hank is a handsome  blue tick beagle type, who was found hanging around a mining property in Kentucky with his sister Lolly. They were trapped and immediately taken to a kill shelter. Knowing that these dogs only other option was euthanasia, a  foster based rescue from Chicago heard about two shy beagles and stepped in to save those two beautiful siblings.

It didn't take long to realize that they were much more than shy. Hank and his sister Lolly are completely feral and terrified of people. Hank refuses to let people touch him, but gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings.  The rescue Hank is with is foster based, which means that the rescue dogs stay with volunteers in their home.

Hank might be able to find a forever home eventually, but it will take a very long time and a lot of patience. It would be impossible for Hank and his sister to stay with a foster based rescue. He needs a place that has the space where he can keep his distance from humans and feel safe over time. So St Francis Farm has offered Hank and Lolly a home. But we need your help to be able to provide them with the love and care they need.

Monthly sponsors will provide a steady stream of funds that ensures Hank can live the rest of his days happy and healthy here at the farm. Funds will go directly to his care for food, medical treatments, safe housing, and the love and care of our wonderful staff.
