Approx. 2 yr old Bluetick Coonhound Mix

Curtis is a wonderful hound who was rescued after months at a FL shelter where his time was running out and his name had made it to the top of the euthanasia list. We brought him to the sanctuary at first to get to know him before sending him up to NY with our parent rescue, LCAR. In NY, Curtis was an instant hit and a favorite with everyone he met but sadly he suffers from tremendous separation anxiety. Through co-crating with other dogs we have been able to reduce his stress but having spent a lifetime outside we have not been successful at housebreaking Curtis which has made it impossible to place him in a traditional home. During the time spent at the farm, Curtis was very happy and the setting seemed to be perfect for calming his anxiety. We have tried hard to find a home that can provide that setting but have been unable to do so. So now he will call the farm his forever home. You can help by becoming his Animal Angel!
