Red (aka Bourbon) seemed to have a rough start with his previous owners over the past six years of his young life. He was brought in to be surrendered by his owners in the trunk of their car!  At approx. sixty-five pounds, Red was curled up around a spare tire in a closed trunk, obviously terrified! This poor boy was obviously not well taken care of, and judging by how he was surrendered, not loved either. The St. Francis Farm and Sanctuary immediately offered him a new home at the farm and give him the care and love that he had been missing!  He is now being fostered in NY and ready to find his forever home with a family that will give him the love he so deserves.

Red is a gentle boxer mix that loves to be close to his people or fur-buddies.  With a submissive and easy-going temperament, Red gets along wonderfully kids & other dogs and will be a wonderful addition to your home.
