Meet Zumber, an adorable chug-mix (chihuahua/pug) that is approximately two - three years old and weighs fifteen pounds.  Sadly, this little fella has not had an easy start in life, especially when a young child  decided it was a good idea to hit him on the back with a baseball bat!  He was quickly taken to a vet where they feared the worse and it looked like he would never walk again.   Luckily, one of our southern rescue partners didn't give up on Zumber and worked with him for weeks on physical therapy (nothing was broken). Now, he is not only walking again, he is running and playing! Zumber  is a fighter and deserves a fresh start with a family who loves him!
