Sweet Maddie, this teeny beagle mix has led a difficult life up until recently.  She was running at large in an industrial plant in South Carolina for some time.  Terrified, she was dodging huge trucks everyday while scrummaging for food to survive. After two attemps, Maddie was trapped and brought to a rural shelter, rescued, and is now safe in NY foster care.

Maddie is estimated to be a year old and weigh twenty-one pounds.  She is quiet & timid, and will thrive in a quiet, patient home that will give her the love she needs to feel safe and time to come out of her shell. Maddie is housetrained, good on leash, and loves her crate.
