Oconee Humane Society was slammed with cats right after the New Year. Upper respiratory infections were spreading like wildfire and the cats were running out of options. Unfortunately with such an overpopulation problem, the shelter has to euthanize in situations like this and the sickest often find themselves on the euthanasia lists first. We couldn't let these babies dies so our sanctuary, St. Francis Animal Sanctuary, opened up its (already packed) doors and welcomed in cats that needed some TLC. 

GENEVIEVE's life is headed from rags to riches. Dumped at the shelter like a piece of trash, she wasn't wanted anymore. This loving, gentle princess only wants love from her humans. Happy to cuddle, snuggle and live her life among company, she really isn't asking for much to be happy. 

This baby is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV and FeLV/Feline Leukemia Negative, microchipped, and ready to find a soft spot to land and enjoy a family!
