Oconee Humane Society is consistently slammed with cats, maxing out their adoption center and their holding area. With so few adoptions happening in the area, the overpopulation problem is causing the shelter to have to euthanize. It is a sad reality and this is where we're stepping in to help. We couldn't let these babies die so our sanctuary, St. Francis Animal Sanctuary, opened up its (already packed) doors and welcomed in cats in preparation to send them to New York.

This gorgeous black and orange torbie is looking for a lap to sleep on and someone to cuddle with. KATHY is affectionate and would love to find her "fur-ever" home with someone who'll spoil her. She was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner's allergies and she was a bit confused living in a cage. She's used to laying on a bed, being spoiled with love and coming over for many pets. Are you that someone special who will spend time combing and caring for this beautiful girl?

This baby is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV and FeLV/Feline Leukemia Negative, microchipped, and ready to find a soft spot to land and enjoy a family!

At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.

$600 - All dogs

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens

$125 - For Cats
