This beautiful girl is Maddie, a shepherd mix that is approx one year old and weighs thirty-five pounds.  Pulled to safety from a rural shelter,  we soon learned sweet Maddie was pregnant.  She gave birth while in southern foster care and took care of her puppies until they each found their forever homes.  Now it's Maddie's turn!  She's come to NY ready to find her forever family.  Maddie is a gentle, mild mannered lady that gets along fantastically with kids & other dogs and will be a wonderful family pet.

Update from foster family: This girl is one big love bug.  All she wants is for someone to pet her.  She knows her name and will come when called but does not know basic commands.  But she has learned how great treats are and we got her to sit with our girls this morning to get her treat.  We went for an early walk before the scorching heat and she is great on the leash.  Awesome in the crate, not a peep and waits patiently for me to let her out. So far she is so calm in the house and runs around in the yard like a typical pup.  Awesome pup!!!  Maddie is also great with dogs, and appears housebroken. She really is such a sweetheart and is going to make some lucky family so happy!
