Hoagie is a sweet and playful German Shorthair Pointer and English Pointer mix, just over a year old and weighing 45lbs. This lovable boy is the perfect balance of fun energy and calm companionship, making him an ideal addition to any family.

Hoagie is kennel and potty trained, and he’s as easygoing as they come. He’s great with both dogs and kids, always ready to play or snuggle. His affectionate nature and gentle demeanor make him a joy to have around. Hoagie doesn’t jump on people, and he’s fantastic with kids, making him the perfect family dog.

When it comes to cats, Hoagie is a little too curious and up-close for comfort with the little ones, but he does just fine with older, more experienced cats. He’s learning his boundaries and is a good boy when managed around younger kitties. Hoagie walks beautifully on a leash, though a harness would help since he tends to get it caught under him, which can be uncomfortable due to his back leg. 

Hoagie is a quiet, well-behaved pup who sleeps soundly in his crate through the night and enjoys his time there. He’s also completely house trained, making him an easy companion to live with.
