Foster Notes: Raven is a doll! She is a very sweet, affectionate, and outgoing Black Lab mix who has lots and lots of endless energy. She needs to go to a home where her people walk, or better yet, run her everyday. She walks very well on leash, and would make a good beach or hiking partner. She loves children, and would make a wonderful family dog. She likes other dogs, but if living with one, needs a dog that can deal with her boundless energy. She likes cats, but sometimes a little too much, so dog-saavy cats only. She would be too intimidating for a shy cat. She is crate-trained, though her previous owners would crate her for very long periods, so she doesn't like it too much. We have been told she is housebroken, but does seem to have to get used to her new environment, as she has had accidents here so far. She loves to play, though has not tapped into her Retriever side yet (doesn't like to bring toys back to you). Given the right environment, she is a wonderful companion who only wants to please you.

Hi my name is Raven and I am a happy dog with a huge grin that will light up your day! I am small now, only 50lbs, but will most likely grow to about 60/65lbs, the perfect companion size! I am very friendly and look forward to sharing a relaxing walk or a run around a park with you. I know when you meet me you will feel you have known me forever. I am always happy to be in the thick of things where all the action is going on. I am so excited for all the adventures that lay ahead of us!At the time of adoption a donation of $200 (dogs over 6 months) and $300 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$600 - All dogs

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

Cats

$200 - For Cats (all ages)

$300 - For 2 Adult Cats

$350 - For 2 Kittens
