Foster Notes: Reef is a very sweet girl. She's very quiet and I've only heard her bark when she was playing outside and got very exited. She's good in her crate and I have been using it only when I am not home to watch her. She's been out of her crate overnight and hasn't had any accidents in the house. She likes to play with other dogs and gets along well with cats. She loves to chase balls and has even been bringing them back after running after them. Reef is still shy but she is getting used to new noises and household activities. She's curious and likes to dig and sniff around the yard. She's good on a leash and will walk right next to you without jumping or pulling. I think she would do well with a family that has other dogs. She is very comfortable in a group of dogs and is learning a lot from being around mine. I have two older dogs and two young ones. She is very respectful with the older ones and she eats all her meals with them. She spends her time in the house with the older ones and plays with the younger ones when I am there to supervise. At first she let them knock her over and tumble her around. Now she is much more confident and stands up for herself without being aggresive.
She hasn't been around children so I'm not sure how she would be in a house with kids. It might be too much for her. She would be a great second or third dog for someone who will be patient with her. She's getting more affectionate and she will lick my face and hands when she comes close to me. It will just take some time for her to learn to trust new people. Because she is shy she needs to come around in her own time.
Hi I am Reef, a gorgeous girl who would enjoy being part of your life. I am small now about 25 and will grow to be about 45lbs. I am extremely shy and timid and need a lot of love and reassurance to help me gain my conifidence. With some time, caring and guidance I am sure to warm up and prove a faithful companion.
If you are looking for a quick smile to brighten your day I am the one for you! With some love and guidance I am sure to become your new best friend. At the time of adoption a donation of $200 (dogs over 6 months) and $300 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home. *IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS ANIMAL, PLEASE SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AND ONCE APPROVED, SOMEONE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION WILL CONTACT YOU.
