Poor Reese hasn't had an easy start to life, arriving at Brookhaven Animal Shelter last year as a stray he soon became a staff favorite. Things began to look up when he was adopted but sadly his family left him behind when they were evicted from their home. He was found in a filthy basement without food and water but his loving spirit has survived. Quick to learn the routine at his foster family's home he is 60lbs, housebroken, loving, enjoys napping on a comfy pet bed, calm indoors and playful outside - a pure pleasure as a guest. Reese listens well and is quick to learn, he just wants to please. This is one wonderful dog who would make a fantastic fit for any family.

At the time of adoption a donation of $200 (dogs over 6 months) and $300 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.

Dogs
$600 - All dogs

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

Cats

$200 - For Cats (all ages)

$300 - For 2 Adult Cats

$350 - For 2 Kittens
