Foster Notes: We have been fostering Calliope for only two days but she is defintely a great girl. She is very friendly, gets along beautifully with our two girls, and LOVES to play. Even when we run out of steam, she is happy to roll the ball around the floor and chase it herself or play with the rope toys and squeaky toys we have in the box. So far she has been clean in our house. She runs outside with our girls when they have to go and remains clean all night. We do keep her confined at night but not crated. She and our Golden/collie mix sleep in the laundry room together. She is also learning how too "sit" on command and is defintely getting better with that. She's a beautiful girl with a boxer face on a lab body. I think she would make a great family pet.

At the time of adoption a donation of $200 (dogs over 6 months) and $300 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens
