My name is MYA. My mom Mimi was brought to this high kill shelter with me and my 3 siblings. We were given 5 days before we were scheduled to be euthanized. We were all saved on our last day thanks to this group called LCAR. We were brought to the LCAR Sanctuary and safe haven were we were brought to health and vetted. Unfortunately my mom tested positive for heartworm. But they tell me mommy will be ok because of all the amazing people who are working to get her better. I am 11 weeks old and about 9 lbs and am believed to be a hound mix. I am so glad we all were brought to safety and now have the chance to be part of someones family. Can I be part of yours?

At the time of adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

Cats

$200 - For Cats (all ages)

$350 - For 2 Kittens
