Happy as could be, PEGGY is the dog someone would love to come home to. The moment you walk through the door, she's the dog whose eyes light up and butt wiggles as she waits for affection. Nearly two months ago, she was stuck in a municipal shelter, pregnant, and out of time. Thanks to some resilient efforts, an amazing foster family stepped up and LCAR sprung her from the SC kill shelter and she was flown thanks to our friends at Pilots-n-Paws to Long Island, NY where her foster family awaited.

On December 1st, 2015, Peggy gave birth to six beautiful puppies inside her foster's home with the love and support of so many. She has cared for those babies wonderfully and all are spoken for, finding their homes. It is now momma's turn to get the home she deserves more than ever.

Besides being happy as could be, Peggy is one wonderful companion dog. She enjoys car rides, going to the office with her foster daddy and just relaxing on her doggy bed. She has had so much love and support from so many over these past weeks and we want to find her a home that will continue to shower her with love and attention. Peggy is great with other dogs, fabulous with children, housebroken and in a matter of weeks, ready to find her forever family!

At the time of adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

Cats

$200 - For Cats (all ages)

$300 - For 2 Adult Cats

$350 - For 2 Kittens
