This beautiful handsome little dude is PATCHES.  Patches has had it rough in life.  He was born to his mom Peaches who was a mill dog and was rescued by her previous owner who was pregnant at the time of rescue years back.  She birthed her last litter and one of the pups stayed with her while the others were all adopted out.  Patches, her son, has been her companion and they are so very bonded.  He is about 6 years old.  Sadly the wonderful woman who saved her and made sure her last litter was all safe, passed away leaving behind her precious Peaches and Patches.  A family member contacted LCAR to see if we could assist in taking them in and eventually finding them a loving home together and we happily embraced them.  They arrived to us so very confused and scared and grieving the loss of their person.  They went into foster together and we will see to it that they stay together forever.  As a result of Peaches being a mill dog, she is now dealing with mammary tumors which have been diagnosed as benign at this time and will be removed and she will be spay at that time.  Peaches is UTD on vaccines, chipped, dewormed and heartworm negative.  She and her son took a long time to adjust but finally learned that it is ok to be loved again by someone new.  They have taken a huge liking to their current foster mom.  They get along well with other dogs, cats and are tolerant of a toddler boy.  They are house trained and also know to use wee wee pads.  They adore affection and enjoy getting the occasional treat.  They BOTH love to lay in your lap and just chill on the couch.  They are really great little dogs.  In efforts to keep them together we offer a reduced fee of $400 for the both of them only under the conditions that they stay together until the end.
