What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal.

Sugar is a beautiful shepherd mix who happens to be a feral dog. She came to live at our sanctuary,  St. Francis Farm,  in September, 2019 after the local humane society reached out for us  to help her.

She came to us terrified of humans and our staff has worked tirelessly to help her live a happy life. Sugar has come a long way and is making great strides, but Sugar still has a long way to go trusting humans, and she will likely call the farm her forever home. You can help fund Sugar's long term care by becoming her Animal Angel (monthly sponsor)!

Monthly sponsors will provide a steady stream of funds that ensures Sugar can live the rest of her days happy and healthy here at the farm. Funds will go directly to her care for food, medical treatments, safe housing,   and the love and care of our wonderful staff.

Monthly sponsors will receive regular updates with a picture of how your consistent funds are helping our sweet Sugar and the other animals here at the Farm.
